ACTION ALERT: Contact your Senator to help prevention programs

Your action is needed today in support of the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2016 (S. 3065/H.R. 5456)! Please call or write your Senator to let them know you support the Family First Act.

The bill provides important funding for prevention services for children and their families including mental health, substance abuse, and skill-based parenting programs like home visiting. The Act marks a significant step in the right direction to focus resources on prevention services, instead of intervention (which can be more costly, and less effective than prevention programs).

It has been more than a decade since anything this significant happened in child welfare policy on a national level. It is very important that this bill move in the Senate before their recess. Please share this alert with your networks and call now!

It's easy to contact your Senator to urge them to pass this important bill. Email or call your member today by following the easy steps below:

1) Find your Senator's number.

3) Tell them, "My name is _____. I am a constituent and I want to ask the Senator for their support of the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2016."
